A Prayer To My Daddy

dear god, i send this prayer to you as quickly as i can this prayer is for my daddy, lord he's up there with you right now and i know he's looking down upon me i really wish i could see him at least once but i know that's not going to happen i just want to let him know that i love him even though i never met him i know he loves me, because i feel it in my heart just tell him that i appreciate him watching over me and i'm grateful that i have a father for a guardian angel tell him to wait for me by those sparkling gates when i see him i can run to him so i can give him a hug and a kiss for the first time ever also tell him that i know he'll be there with me on my graduation day even though i can't see or touch him i will also know that he'll be by my side when i'm getting married but tell him not to get mad when my step-dad walks me down the aisle let him know that i will always be thinking of him everyday and every night send this to him also... i love you and i miss you daddy amen (9-9-02)
